Have you heard of the office of educational technology? I hadn’t. But I am glad I found the site. Below I have reposted their summary before I go into more detail about the resources.

For Teachers | Office of Educational Technology

“The toolkit provides rubrics, checklists and examples to assist district teams as they develop, refine, and evaluate professional learning plans that align with their capacity, learning goals, and standards of professional learning. In particular, the toolkit focuses on how districts can use technology to connect educators and provide tailored professional learning experiences.”

My Thoughts

The landing page I linked above leads to two intriguing resources for teachers: Free.Ed.gov and Connected Educator Month. I need to investigate the Connected Educator Month and initiative. FreeEd has countless resources. It’s an aggregator of federal and other educational resources that refers you to their sites for the most part. It eliminates a lot of the need for excessive Google searches.
